Therapy is an investment in your wellbeing. I offer both private pay (out-of-network) services and select insurance-based options, allowing you to choose the level of privacy, flexibility, and financial structure that best fits your needs.
Private Pay / Out-of-Network Therapy
Many clients intentionally choose private pay therapy for the increased discretion and flexibility it offers. This option allows treatment to be guided by clinical need rather than insurance requirements.
Benefits include:
Enhanced confidentiality and privacy
No required mental health diagnosis for billing
Greater flexibility in session frequency and treatment approach
Care not limited by insurance guidelines
Important considerations:
Upfront costs are typically higher
Out-of-network reimbursement varies by insurance plan
Clients are responsible for verifying their own benefits

If we are out-of-network with your plan, a superbill can be provided for possible reimbursement. Please note that insurers typically require a mental health diagnosis or diagnostic impression when a superbill is submitted.

Investment in Services
-
Individual therapy sessions (50 minutes): $175
-
EMDR intensives: $200 per hour

Insurance Options
We are in-network with select insurance providers for clients who prefer to use their benefits. Coverage, copays, deductibles, and authorization requirements vary by individual plan.
Accepted insurance plans:
-
Aetna
-
Anthem
-
Cigna
-
United Healthcare
-
Oscar
-
Carelon
-
Oxford
-
Quest Behavioral Health

Many clients choose insurance for:
-
Lower immediate out-of-pocket costs
-
Payments that may apply toward deductibles or annual maximums
-
Greater financial predictability for ongoing care

Important considerations:
-
A mental health diagnosis is required for billing
-
Insurance may limit session frequency or duration
-
Clinical documentation must be shared with the insurer
-
Certain specialized or integrative treatments may not be covered

Payment & Transparency
Payment is due on the day of service. We accept credit cards as well as HSA/FSA cards.
Fees, insurance use, and payment expectations are always discussed upfront. If you’re unsure whether private pay or insurance is the best fit, I’m happy to talk through your options during a consultation call so you can make a confident, informed decision. Your energy is best spent on healing — not navigating confusing financial policies.

Good Faith Estimate Notice
The Federal No Surprises Act protects you from surprise medical bills and makes it easier for you to understand the costs of health care services before you get a service.
